Ruling Class Accuses Trump of Treason while It Celebrates Betrayal

Ruling Class conspiracy theories about Donald Trump engaging in treason with Russia continue dominating the news and politics. Yet even as this occurs, the Ruling Class celebrates betraying and undermining America, with a graphic novel and forthcoming Steven Spielberg movie being two examples of this.

Variety giddily reported on March 11 that Steven Spielberg plans to direct a movie about The Washington Post publishing classified information that gravely damaged the United States.

I got a shiver of anticipation when I read the announcement on Monday that Steven Spielberg would direct “The Post,” a drama about The Washington Post’s role in exposing the Pentagon Papers, starring Tom Hanks as the fabled Post editor Ben Bradlee and Meryl Streep as publisher Katharine Graham. Set in 1971, the movie will center on the paper’s war with the White House over whether the Post had the right to publish the top-secret military documents — first leaked to The New York Times by Daniel Ellsberg — that charted the escalation and futility of the Vietnam War.

The author later added that The Post is “a fast-track movie” and that it “is scheduled to begin shooting in May and to be released later on this year.”

Earlier in March, Slate celebrated the release of “The Senate Torture Report in Graphic-Novel Form.” The graphic novel supplements the Ruling Class’s ongoing effort to demonize U.S. troops and personnel (and the U.S. in general) by promoting the myth that U.S. personnel “tortured” Iraqi enemies.

There is nothing unique about these pop culture celebrations of betrayal. The New York Times published, “Burglars Who Took On F.B.I. Abandon Shadows,” in 2014. This article celebrated the 1971 theft of intelligence that damaged the United States—the same theft that Spielberg is planning to turn into The Post.

The Ruling Class hates America. And it will keep betraying it and celebrating those who betray it all the while it lies about Trump engaging in treason with Russia.
