Obama Downplays Russian Cyberwarfare as Ruling Class Calls Trump ‘Treasonous’ for Joke

Democrats, media, and other members of the Ruling Class have accused Donald Trump of treason for joking that Russia can provide Hillary Clinton’s missing emails since neither she nor the U.S. government will. Meanwhile, Barack Obama has remarked that any potential Russian cyberwarfare against the U.S. would not greatly affect his regime’s relationship with Russia and President Vladimir Putin.

The Ruling Class has not only failed to acknowledge that Trump made a joke about Russia providing copies of the emails that Clinton illegally withheld (and supposedly destroyed), but it also is actively lying by saying Trump called on Russia to hack Clinton’s server (which supposedly doesn’t even exist anymore).

The Ruling Class is so committed to this Big Lie that Democrats are even calling for an investigation of Trump.

Yet even as they conduct this information operation, they predictably ignore Obama’s non-joking comments that all but dismissed cyberwarfare by the Russians.

Reuters reported on Aug. 2 that Obama said that any Russian cyberwarfare against the U.S. would not affect his relations with Russia or Putin.

The United States already has “a lot of differences with Russia on a whole bunch of issues, but I think that we’ve been able to try to stay focused on those areas where we still have a common interest,” Obama said at a press conference during a state visit with Singapore’s Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. …
“If in fact Russia engaged in this activity, it’s just one on a long list of issues that me and Mr. Putin talk about and that I’ve got a real problem with,” Obama said.

The ridiculousness of the Ruling Class calling Trump “treasonous” for a joke becomes even more outrageous when juxtaposed against Obama saying that any potential Russia cyberwarfare doesn’t mean all that much, and will not affect U.S.-Russian relations.

There are a lot of strange things going on between Obama and Russia right now but the Ruling Class is simply pretending they don’t exist.
