Clinton claimed that Trump is acting as a propagandist for the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS) during the Dec. 19 Democratic presidential primary debate on CNN. ABC News reported that “she said Trump’s anti-Muslim rhetoric is making him ‘ISIS’s best recruiter.’” ABC also reported that Clinton’s “communications director defended” her claim “but could not point to specific evidence of this happening in an interview on ‘This Week with George Stephanopoulos’.”
ISIS might eventually use Trump’s remarks in an attempt to recruit more Muslims for its global jihad, but that is only because Trump wants to defeat it, which is contrary to what the Democrat-Media Complex (and an increasing number of Republicans) want to do.
However, there is no evidence right now that Islamic terrorists are using Trump’s remarks to recruit. On the other hand, there is evidence that the Democrat-Media Complex is providing propaganda for them. Documents that U.S. forces recovered from Osama bin Laden’s residence on May 2, 2011 demonstrate this.
David Ignatius reported on March 20, 2012 that “a 21-page letter from” bin Laden’s “media adviser, a U.S.-born jihadist named Adam Gadahn,” showed that al-Qaeda liked how mainstream media portrayed it.
As I wrote last week, Gadahn hated Fox News (“falls into the abyss”); he liked MSNBC but complained about the firing of Keith Olbermann; he had mixed feelings about CNN (better in Arabic than in English) and made flattering comments about CBS and ABC. Basically, he wanted to play them all off to al-Qaeda’s best advantage. He also mentioned print journalists, most prominently Robert Fisk of The Independent of Britain. He cites three Americans (“Brian Russ,” “Simon Hirsh” and “Jerry Van Dyke”), though it’s uncertain whom he meant.
The Democrat-Media Complex has never apologized or showed any remorse for the propaganda they provide for Islamic terrorists.
And this lying and hypocrisy is on par with its general behavior, and its specific behavior regarding Trump—something the last Republican presidential primary debate showed.
The Democrat-Media Complex and Republican candidates have ridiculed Trump for not knowing offhand what the nuclear triad is during the Dec. 15 debate on CNN. This contrasts greatly with how the D-MC treated Barack Obama after he revealed he had no idea what one of his most important intelligence agencies was after he occupied the White House.
On May 29, 2009, Politico reported on how Obama did not know what the NGA—the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency—is although he was the president.
On his trip to get a burger with Brian Williams at Five Guys this afternoon, the president appears to have learned of the existence of a Defense Department intelligence arm, the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency, from an agency employee also at the burger restaurant.
“So explain to me exactly what this National Geospatial...” Obama said, after the worker mentioned his employer, according to a video of the event.
“We work with, uh, satellite imagery,” the worker, Walter replied.
There was no sustained ridicule from the Democrat-Media Complex or questions about his competency. It was noted, chuckled at, and then tossed down memory hole.
The Democrat-Media Complex hates truth and is unapologetic about it. This is why the public increasingly hates it. And this is why Trump continues dominating the Republican presidential primary race (he refuses to bow to it). The Democrat-Media Complex is an enemy of good and the American People and yet they proclaim the opposite is true.
So don’t expect the D-MC to apologize for its hypocrisy and Islamic terrorist propaganda even as it accuses Trump of the same. It lies. It always does.
